Why boost?

We are continuing our series with members of the NCH Community who want others to know their reason for getting their COVID-19 vaccine booster.

Why I got boosted: I’ve had asthma since I was a child. I know the best thing I could do to protect myself, my family, and others around me is to stay up to date with current CDC recommendations related to the vaccine. I also got boosted because I look forward to being able to meet and socialize face to face again, without a mask. A few weeks ago one of our physicians stopped in my office and said how great it was to see my smile again because it had been so long since he saw me without a mask. That really resonated with me. It’s hard to believe more than two years have passed since the start of the pandemic. We are where we are today because of the vaccine. Please do your part and get boosted so we can continue on the positive path we are on!
